Welcome to Heart Work!

We help people find grace in transitions and flow in the unknown.
We are so glad you’re here.

Let's connect

See how we work…

At Heart Work, we know the best change and growth happens when you’re in an environment where you feel safe and comfortable.

For that reason, we offer therapy and yoga either in person or online.

If you want to connect in person, join us at our peaceful studio located at the Oak Bay/Fort junction. There’s free parking out front and ample positive vibes inside.

If your capacity is more the virtual vibe, we’ve got you. All clinicians offer virtual supports to anyone located in BC.

We’re available 6 days per week, including evenings.

A wellness or yoga studio with mats and bolsters on the floor, and a cozy seating area with armchairs, side tables, and potted plants by large windows letting in natural light.

If you relate to any of the following, you’re in the right place…

*You’re grappling with big questions like “is my partner the person I’m meant to be with?” or “how do I fall in love again?

*You’ve read all the self-help books and listened to all the podcasts but still struggle with intimacy

*Burnout plunked a grey rock of indifference in to your heart and you want to find meaning, creativity, joy and play in life again

*You are ready to come home to your body, your breath, and your inner flow

At Heart Work, we believe healing happens when we understand
why and how our systems respond to life challenges and
learn to move forward with intention and flow.

We offer both talk therapy and embodied practices to meet your needs in a holistic way.
Our grounded, compassionate care blends narrative therapy, Internal Family Systems theory,
somatic wisdom, and the philosophy of yoga.

We know the healing power of presence and connection.
However you arrive, your healing and growth is our priority.

Heart Work: Therapy and Yoga
for Deep Connection and Personal Growth

Healing the Heart, Embracing Change

At Heart Work, we believe that healing involves finding balance in your mind and heart. Whether you’re navigating relationship shifts, struggling with an identity change, or going through a personal transformation, we know how to guide you toward healing, growth and equilibrium across all of your systems. Choose from traditional talk therapy, yoga, or a unique combination of both, whatever you feel called to.

The Struggle Between Who You Are and Who You’re Becoming

Life’s transitions can leave us feeling disconnected from our relationships, our ideal selves, or the path we thought we’d be on. You might be questioning your decisions, wondering how to open your heart or mind to expand into what what life is calling you toward, or facing an identity shift. These moments stir deep questions and that can sometimes lead to emotional turmoil, making it hard to know how to move forward.

Heart Work Exists to Help You Navigate Life’s Transitions with Grace

At Heart Work, we create a supportive space where you can navigate the complexities of relationships, identities and transformation. We offer a blend of talk therapy and yoga practice to help you to reconnect to your self, or if you’re coming to us with your partner, with one another.

We’ll help you to identify and release whatever might be holding you back, reconnect with your heart and embrace a life path toward authenticity, joy and inner peace.

  • “Leanne encourages you to ask questions about the life we find ourselves in and the uncertainties we are up against. …We did so by cutting through the details in the connections we have with ourselves and others. The discoveries made within these connections often provided a chance to see love in diverse ways. Throughout my time learning from and alongside her, she created space for students to interact with the areas of themselves that haven’t received much attention. For myself, this looked like how I engage with perfectionism and a deep desire to be considered a ‘good person’. Confronting these areas feel and felt uncomfortable, however, Leanne highlighted the necessity for compassion and love for whatever might be revealed.” - K. Pulak, former student
